Parking Rules

Good Morning,

We are reminding residents of the rules around parking vehicles. 

It is an offence to:

- Park within 10 metres of a junction.

- Park on the pavement or a dropped curb and fail to leave room for a wheelchair or double buggy to pass.

- Park on the road and fail to leave room for another vehicle to pass.

- Double park - this makes if very difficult for emergency service vehicles to get through if they need to.

Police will be issuing fixed penalty notice fines to any vehicles causing an obstruction.
